Drawing in perspective: ancient and modern

Before the rules of drawing in perspective were established in the 15th century many artists drew rectangular objects with parallel or divergent perspective. One can understand drawing with parallel perspective because the sides of a rectangular object are parallel. We did a series of experiments that revealed why many people draw with divergent perspective.
